2 YEARS OLD

How did it happen? She is a beautiful 2 year old princess, so we had a royal party, where we made crowns and played pin the flag on the castle and even had a castle cake! She had lots of family and friends over and had a great time! And for the first time had a ring pop, and she loved it a little too much! She has been wanting ear rings for awhile, so we got her clip-on's, and she leaves them on!

The Beach

We went to a nearby beach and had sooo much fun. Eizalynn enjoyed all the tide pools and digging!

Her nick name is MONKEY! She is so wonderful and crazy and always finding something new to do or dress up in.

Thanks to that wonderful show, Eiza was distracted long enough for me to try for the first time to do french braids! And it worked mostly; they aren't the most perfect ones but for being on a toddler who kept turning her head to look for our meowing cat that got shut into my bedroom, not so bad! I love that she loves having her hair done!

TODDLER BED TIME!!!

Eiza was ready to switch to her toddler bed. Her crib goes down to a toddler bed so it made the transition easy. She was so excited when we got the crib parts off, she climbed on and was so happy! At first she didn't want anything on the bed with her...then I asked her"What can go on the bed with Eiza?" And she added her toys then her blankets then her pillow last. Then she laid down and wanted Will to lay down with her! I was worried what would happen when bed time came, we did our normal night time routine and she fell asleep! The second night she fell out 4 times, thankfully we laid down another mattress so she stayed asleep while we moved her back to her bed. It's been a few days now and she hasn't fallen at all...now she wakes up and knocks on the door(she can't open it yet) and calls for us.

Sorry for the change of Blog. I like this format better and I can do more with it! Please feel free to leave comments at the bottom of any post! Eizalynn has changed so much since her birthday(which is when I believe I last blogged). She can:
~brush her teeth
~fold her arms for prayer and says Amen
~give lots of kisses & hugs
~sing and dance
~do signs for please,more,thank you, all done, poop & help
~color, draw, paint & loves playdoh
~helps mom sweep, vacuum, cook & everything else
~wash her tummy, face & hair
~talk on the phone to family and friends
~look at books and makes noises like she's reading while pointing at pictures
~say lots of words like light, baby, mom, dad, juice, shoes, kitty, ball, I love you, amen, book& she tries to repeat everything we say.
~tries to dress & undress herself
~a little mommy to her dolls
~name body parts
~make all kinds of animal noises
~she is starting to tell us when she goes #2 and is interested in the potty
~sits at the table and feeds herself
~plays well with others and by herself
~tries to escape from the pew at church constantly
~loves nursery
~likes to run away giggling when we want to change her diaper
